Nuclear disasters, polygamy and comedy

So was listening to yesterdays news today on my phone (podcast) and heard something sad... Although I have been telling S that things with the power plant in Japan are more serious than the Japanese government has told us he has been constantly telling me I am wrong... Well I take no joy in being right as they have extended the danger zone to 30 mile radius instead of 15 mile radius, there have been melted rods and the run off pipes are pumping dangerous levels of radiated water into the pacific. Please send your blessings their way this week.

Next bit of news: Don't know all the info except someone is trying to legalize polygamy in Canada. Now I don't understand polygamy and what I have heard is horrible but to each his own. But the argument against it, while valid, is fixable. He (don't know his name) argued that it subjugates women, makes them slaves, is harmful to the women and children, and of course there is the forced child brides... so polygamy (as far as most know) is about a patriarchal society with slavery and rape. But there is a fix. Legalize it... (before you all jump down my throat let me finish) make it legal but also make it arrestable offense if a child is forced into the marriage, with or without parental permission. Also make sure the women are educated on their rights. I know there would be more needed but that's not for me to figure out.

Started watching You Again last night and surprisingly so far is hilarious mainly because in high school I was Marnie... Will give more later.

Movies, Movies, Movies

So been listening to a lot of movie podcasts lately and so becoming re interested in movies. Plan to watch the entire AFI top 100 list and reviewing them and watching more new movies too. But must rant on one thing the Lethal Weapon remake! Without any of the original cast! Pisses me off as Lethal Weapon is a classic series and should not be fucked with! End of Rant.

Ok so finally watched the Hangover with S and I have to say I thought it was pretty funny. I love when Stu finally relaxes and realizes his girlfriend is a raving BITCH! Only one problem: They never explained the chicken! (LOL)
